Connectivity is pleased to announce a new data syndication partnership with CityGrid Media that integrates our customers’ business listings data directly into the Citysearch and Insider Pages networks to reach more than 8 million consumers monthly. We’re super excited about this new partnership. Connectivity blog readers may recall that we also recently announced another big partnership with MapQuest.

If you’re thinking, “Good for Connectivity. Nice work. Why does this matter to me?” Here’s why: Each time we sign a data syndication partnership, you gain more control over your listings online. Any time you submit accurate business listing information to us, we do everything we can to ensure it’s updated online. With a data syndication partnership, your data is pushed directly to our partner so you can be sure your information will match exactly what you submit to us on their directories. It’s all included in our standard listings package, so if you already use our listings product, you’re all set.

With this partnership, Connectivity will provide core listings data such as business name, address, phone number, website and business categorization, as well as 17 fields of enhanced data, ranging from hours of operation and business description, to social media URLs, photos and videos.

In addition to directly submitting listings to CityGrid’s directories, Connectivity also submits to major data aggregators (Infogroup, Acxiom, Neustar, Factual) and manually claims listings on major sites such as Google, Facebook and Yelp as well as niche industry sites. What does this mean? It means we provide your listings with the widest reach and best accuracy throughout the internet. In other words, we help your business get more visibility than a Kardashian.
